EMBOSSING
Embossing creates images or design features to be raised above the surface of the paper.
This is done by heat pressing into the paper without any use of ink or foil. It gives a strong texture feel and in some cases 3 dimensional visual effects.
Debossing is the opposite effect of embossing by depressing the print. It gives the same fell but the paper is pressed in instead of popping out.
The reverse side of the paper will be affected by both embossing and debossing processes.
